Kayla's IEP meeting is scheduled for May 1st! Geez, she's only been in school since Feb 20, and between snow days and illness, she's probably only been there half of that time! Her teacher said she's going to recommend ESY and that it shouldn't be a problem in our school district. They pretty much follow the recommendations. Hope she's right! At least she will have seen the developmental pediatrician and hopefully audiologist (if we don't get snowed out ) by then. Don't know how the therapists will have a report, don't think she's been with them long enough. I've only spoken to her OT when I had to pick up Kayla early from school, have no idea what her ST or PT are doing, no reports or anything yet.

ESY is Extended School Year, so she'll be able to go to school and get services in the summer.
