I am not sure where to post this so here it is. I didn't want it to get lost down the page within a few hours on the General thread.
Mia is entering phase 2 of her treatment. She was supposed to start last week but her blood work/counts were not good enough for it. She goes back on the 30 of this month. If I understand her right she really only has a couple of months left of the chemo treatment with the expensive hospital stays. As I have said before they live about 1 1/2 hours from the hospital, so I am guessing maybe about 100 miles away.
Yuko thinks Mia may lose her hair during this treatment. I know there are so many people on this site that like to help others in need. I am in the process of trying to get her address. If anyone else would like to help put with gas money, food money,etc.. or maybe hats if Mia does lose her hair, I know Yuko and her family would be forever grateful. She is so thankful for all you guys and the prayers you send their way.
You can email or PM me and I will send you an address. Hopefully I will have hers very shortly. But if not, I can take whatever comes for her to the hospital.

I have her address. I'd love to help Yuko in any way I can. I can't do much right now (actually, others have been helping ME the past few weeks, I'm not in a position to help someone far away from me.) but if you need help with something I can do from a distance, I'll do whatever I can.

thanks for getting Yuko/Mia's address to me Jenny!
maybe a moderator could make this a 'STICKY' in the General section so it will be seen by others that know Yuko and Mia - i know she hasn't been able to post here in quite awhile with all the hospital travels, stays, etc. concerning Mia's Pre-Leukemia.
i hope others will see this too, aj

I posted this earlier today but I guess it did not go through---
Thank you Stephanie for making this a sticky and moving it.
Also, for anyone who would like to help Yuko and Mia, I now have her address and can send it your way if you email or PM me. She does have a paypal account but I am not sure what the email address is. I can get it if anyone wants it.
I know Yuko would be very thankful for any help she gets for Mia.
Thanks everyone!!

I Have her address but it would take ages for me to send her something. Is there anyway I can help her out through PayPal or some thing like that?

I think I have replied to everybody above. If not, please PM me. I don't get on here as much as I would like so I don't always see if someone posted a reply. I know AJ is helping keep an eye on the thread though and helping send info out too. (Thanks AJ!!)
The last I heard, Mia is doing well. I think this may have been her last chemo. I thought she had one more but in Yuko's last email it sounded like maybe this was it!! They were waiting for her numbers to climb back up before being released. They were at 0 when I heard last.
I stopped by and saw them about a week ago and Mia looked great to me. She was very excited about the balloons I brought for her. Yuko wanted me to say "HI" to everyone on here. Yuko said this is a very critical time to see if all the chemo as worked for Mia. I know she is so thankful for you guys all praying for Mia.
And thank you to everybody who has offered to help them out in any way possible.

We will be praying for them. Sadly, we are very low income and cannot help financially, but if you can PM me with Mia's clothing size (as well as those of any brothers and sisters she may have), I may be able to send some (very cute) hand-me-down clothes their way.
