Does anyones child take anti epileptic drugs? how do the drugs go together with TNI or ginko?
we had to stop the TNI because of a therapy with dexamethasone, and haven't started again since.
Eric is on ginko for a few weeks now and doing fine with it so far. He also gets omega-3, but i think that is not a problem.
Two weeks ago we had to start with Trileptal (Oxcabazepin), an AED.
Trileptal has side effects like stomach pain, nausea etc. We are still on a low dose, though. But the more he gets, the more side effects will show up, I'm afraid.
I'm thinking about stopping with ginko until he is on full dose with Trileptal and he got used to it...or is that not necessary?
Asking a doctor here is useless, since they don't believe in TNI, ginko etc. anyway.

Are you on the Yahoo DSTNI list? You could ask Dr. L. on there.
