Ok I was 22 with the first 30 with #2 and 40 with #3 and I agree about the fact that more women under 30 have babies.. I have been called grandma only once and they also thought he was a girl wearing all blue so that tells you something and guess what 7 months after haveing Curtis I was a grandma ...now people think I have twins.....

Well I am 26 BUT if you are looking at gentics then Khloe's birth mother was 36 when she was born. Khloe was her 3rd birth child, and our 5th child.

Positively ancient but she was an unplanned additional little present when we least expected it. We had fertility problems and had IUI for #1 and IVF/ICSI for #2 though it didn't work and he came naturally (my beautiful little boy) and then Imogen happened when Tom was only 11 months old and I was so upset as I felt I had robbed him of his babyhood - but he was and is great and they get on so well -apart from when she stands in front of the telly when he's watching Scooby Doo that is! Oh and i was 38 when I had her ( but almost 39!)

I was 36 when Anthony was conceived and 37 when he was born. I had a staff at one time that had her first child at age 19 and he was born with DS. He is now 18. Remember ladies you are only as old as you want to feel.

My mom was almost 40 when she had us (I am a twin but my twin died at birth). It was always funny growing up because people told me to give my grandma time when it was really my mom. Then I have a brother who is 17 years older then me. He always was my hero growing up. He was often mistaken as my father. It drove my brother crazy. The last time this happen was when I was 21 and going into a liquor store with my brother. The guy comments to my brother that it was great to see his daughter. We both had a good laugh when we told the guy that we really were brother and sister. My brother is still my hero. We are closer today then ever.

I played with "Dawn" dolls growing up and had an "easy bake oven", teachers were allowed to use a paddle, better known as getting a "swat", my first stereo had an 8-trak, and at 17 yrs. old Billy Joel and the Cars were real big...

I hear you...I am 37 as well. I'll admit it...I was a huge Jimmy McNichol fan....and I had his album on 8 track. I almost burned our house down with my Easy Bake Oven....and if I remember correctly my favorite show was the Hardy Boys!! LOL..those were the days!!

You know what is really scary? All those clothes we wore in Junior High and High School are BACK IN STYLE. So scary!!

concieved at 31- had her shortly after turning 32. half of the ladies who had babies with ds around the time I did (there were about a dozen in 2 mos. about 2 dozen in a year) were over 35. One was 17-but most of us were late 20's and early 30's.

I was told by the docs that sure the age does make your risk higher but because most babies born are born to the younger then thats why you see more cases of DS in those of our similar age groups 20 - 30???? Who knows really. I wouldnt be put too much emphasis on age myself
