I just realized that today was WDSD today! I didn't know that it was today until Renee made a post as QOTD...so my possible silly or obvious question is did they(whoever they is) pick today becasue it is 3-21 as in Tri-21 as in Trisomy 21 as in Down Syndrome??? Probably so but I am am just curious...I believe in coincidence but.....come on right!?!?! Anyway very clever if they did!

Don't feel stupid. I had no idea there was such a thing as WDSD until reading Renee's post (and the others talking about making posters). And it never even crossed my mind that the date was significant. I would assume 3-21 was chosen on purpose, although I don't think it would ever have dawned on me that today's date was perfect for WDSD.

That's a great thought! Don't feel bad, I didn't think of it either. I didn't even know there was such a thing as WDSD. Until the postings on downsyn that is.

Well I wondered the same thing, and I had never heard of this day before. Has it always been this day? Is this new this year? It's weird because no one in our Ds group has ever heard of it and everyone that I mention it to around our area looks at me like I'm nuts because they've never heard about it either, not even the ARC here in Maryland.

This is the first year of WDSD. I'm assuming the date was the reason for choosing it.

Your not alone....I didn't know it was WDSD, never heard of it and I wasn't even smart enough to realize it was on 3-21. So, thank you for inlightening me.

I read on one of the sites that they chose the day because of the 3/21.. I didn't know till I read that so don't feel dumb, I think this is the first yr they have had WDSD..
